"Albanian future now", the campaign that aims to promote, in the local and international market, the ecosystem in Albania, this initiative of EU4Innovation, implemented by GIZ in Albania, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, was launched today in Tirana, at the summit for innovation and technology in Albania, "ACT NOW 2025", in the presence of global technology leaders, policymakers, investors and startups.
If until 2008-2010, the innovation ecosystem in Albania was almost non-existent, a desert where there was little or no life, and where nevertheless some brave and far-sighted individuals, driven by talent and economic needs, opened their minds and doors to innovative ideas, major transformations began to have a significant impact over the last decade.

Thanks to the passion and commitment of local and international actors, thanks to the support of the developing digital infrastructure and the strategic vision of the Albanian government, today the ecosystem in Albania is experiencing a new era.
Today is the moment for the world to start seeing what Albania has to offer in this regard. This is also the goal of the “Albania future now” campaign, which, together with partners (start-ups, government institutions, organizations working in this direction, academics, ecosystem members) promotes the ecosystem locally and internationally, by clearly identifying the pillars on which the development of innovation in Albania is based.

Unlike the ecosystems of larger countries, Albania offers a terrain with low operational costs, has a vibrant ecosystem, eager to elaborate innovative ideas and with actors, especially young, capable, demanding and insistent on becoming skilled quickly, to respond to the demands and needs of today's global market.
Today, the ecosystem in Albania is supported by continuous, concrete government initiatives. It is favored by the ideal geographical, regional and European position that our country has, also blessed by attractions, natural beauties and valuable historical and cultural heritage, which attract not only tourists but also digital nomads.

Albania has never had a better moment to develop in innovation than now. Now is the time for Europe and the world to recognize the Albanian startup and innovation scene. A scene that is growing rapidly. With thriving technology centers and bold aspirations that are turning into success stories.

The “Albania Future Now” campaign by EU4Innovation and MEKI conveys the messages that Albania is European in mindset, in culture, in geography. It is a strategic gateway to EU and world markets. With thriving technology hubs and bold aspirations that turn into success stories. Albania has a globalized workforce, with a strong work ethic, ready to collaborate with other visionaries. Albania is a country with untapped potential, waiting for the brave to build, the wise to invest, the dreamers to create.
"Whether you are a local or international entrepreneur, a foreign or Albanian investor, a digital nomad or simply a person with new ideas, the time is NOW, the place is Albania" - this is the message, this is the call of #Albania Future Now!
