DP MP Belind Këlliçi has reacted regarding SPAK's mega-operations and crackdowns against drug trafficking and money laundering.

According to Këlliç, these actions highlighted the mechanism that the opposition has denounced for investing drug money in construction.

Këlliçi accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama of being the architect and godfather of this scheme.

"SPAK's actions in recent days are highlighting the mechanism that Edi Rama has set up to invest drug money in construction!

What we have denounced and raised our voices about for years. That he, Edi Rama, is the architect and godfather of this scheme. He is the guarantor.

The Aruba Summit, which SPAK has currently documented, is one of the cases where Edi Rama tells the guys: keep working, put the money into construction!

SPAK has a legal obligation to go to the godfather. The people are waiting for him, the square is demanding him. The Albanians in revolt are demanding him.

In the meantime, I will undertake several parliamentary initiatives regarding this situation.

I have been communicating with the responsible state authorities for 2 months now and will soon present concrete legal initiatives.

Criminalizing this sector requires concrete measures.

I will propose changes that will prevent fictitious companies with 1 thousand euros in capital from obtaining construction permits for projects up to 100 million euros.

I will advocate for legal changes and guarantees to stop money laundering in construction. An investigative commission into everything that has happened so far would serve to ensure transparency.

This is done in the public interest and on behalf of all those who cannot buy a house, who need decades to have shelter.

One thing is known and no one doubts it anymore.

Edi Rama is behind every dirty euro that goes into construction!
