Zvicra mori një fitore të madhe 3-2 ndaj Serbisë, një ndeshje që do të dhuronte jo pak emocione. Shaqiri shënoi golin e parë  në minutën e 20-të, duke u konfirmuar si makth për rivalët. Paraqitje spektakolare edhe për Granit Xhakën, që u zgjodh nga FIFA si lojtari i ndeshjes.
