Rumor has it that Skënderbeu, Uerdi Mara, signs with the new team

Midfielder Verdi Mara has returned to Dinamo Batumi in Georgia, just 25 days after leaving the club.

The 26-year-old, who was declared a free agent in early January, has signed a new contract that keeps him tied to the Georgian champions for the next two years.

Mara initially joined Dinamo Batumi in February 2024 on loan, before the club bought his card from Turkish side Kaciorengucu in March 2025 for a fee of €30,000. Last season, he was a key player in the team, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists.

Although there was interest from several clubs in the Albanian Premier League, including his former team Skënderbeu, the midfielder chose to continue his career abroad in an environment he knows well.
