New coach, old problem. Real Madrid disappoints again on penalties

New coach, but the old "noise" continues at Real Madrid. Coach Xabi Alonso has been entrusted with the leadership of the team, as Carlo Ancelotti's successor, but the team is facing the same problems, especially in penalty shooting.

Most recently, Fede Valverde missed against Al Hilal in the Club World Cup. Kylian Mbappe, who has taken 10 penalties this season, missed three, two of which were crucial. Vinicius and Bellingham have also been inconsistent from the penalty spot, with several attempts missing.

Statistics show that in the last four seasons, Real Madrid have only converted 69.3% of their penalties.

The problem has become more evident since the departure of specialists like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ramos and Benzema.
