Fans from Kosovo banned in Albania-Serbia? AFF clarifies everything

The Football Federation wishes to categorically deny a news item recently distributed by a Swiss-based online media outlet, which falsely and without any factual basis claims that Albanian fans from Kosovo are excluded from the Albania-Serbia match, to be played on June 7 at the "Arena Kombëtare" stadium.

This information is completely false and abusive. The Albanian Football Association has sent an official communication to the media in question and is awaiting a formal response.

It is clarified that the ticket sales process for the Albania-Serbia match will be carried out through a transparent and open system for all fans, without any discrimination or exclusion.

The application for tickets will start on May 15, through an electronic form that will be published on the official website of the Albanian Football Association. The application period will last two weeks and at the end of May a computer draw will be held to select the fans who will have the right to purchase the tickets. The selected ones will be notified by email.

The Albanian Football Association remains committed to a dignified organization of the match and invites all Albanian fans, wherever they are, to follow official communications with confidence and not fall prey to fake news.
