Vllaznia was embarrassed in the title final, Xhaferi: This is not the end

Vllaznia failed again to win a championship title, which has been missing for 24 years. The Shkodran team came very close to the trophy but were totally disappointed in the grand final.

The Red and Blues surrendered unconditionally to Egnatia, with the team from Rrogozhina triumphing with a comprehensive score of 4-0.

For the first time after this, Vllaznia's president, Alban Xhaferi, has also reacted, apologizing to the fans.

In his post, he says that this is not the end, but a pledge that motivates more for the future.

"Thank you fans! A heartfelt thank you to all the fans who filled the "National Arena", who traveled, sacrificed and stood by Vllaznia with all their hearts. Your presence and support was magnificent, as only Shkodra knows how to do.

At the same time, I feel obliged to apologize to you, especially to our passionate and loyal fans, for the disappointing result and the way this final ended. We know you gave everything for us, but we were unable to reward you as you deserved: with the trophy.

However, this is not the end. It is just a pledge that motivates us more. We will return, with more strength, with more hunger and with more dedication. The strength of Vllaznia, our pride that never fades," Xhaferi writes.
