Diego Simeone has not spared any stinging criticism towards Barcelona talent Lamine Yamal, following Atletico Madrid's success in securing the Champions League semi-finals.

Simeone brought up his old clashes with Cristiano Ronaldo to show what it really means to be afraid of a player on the pitch. According to him, the difference between a good match and being a real "nightmare" is huge.

"He's a good boy with a lot of talent. He asked for a one-on-one and scored after 3 minutes of play. The media wants to crown him the king of Europe. The press wants me to be afraid of a teenager, just because he gives bold interviews. For a decade I had to stand on the sidelines and watch Cristiano Ronaldo score a hat-trick to eliminate my team.
