Spain and Germany have drawn 1-1 in the World Cup, after the match ended 1-1 in Group E.

The match started quite frantically, as Dani Olmo made a powerful shot in the seventh minute of the match, but Manuel Neuer made a magnificent save.

Spain was dangerous again, now through Ferran Torres (27'), but his shot went wide.

It was the 40th minute of the match when Germany were thought to have taken the lead through Antonio Rudiger, but VAR overruled it for the defender's offside position.

In the second half, the Germans started better, risking through Joshua Kimmich (56'), but Unai Simon made a wonderful save.

But, in the 62nd minute, Alvaro Morata put the Red Fury in the lead, easily beating Neuer, who failed to meet the striker's shot.

When it was thought that Germany was being eliminated, Niclas Fullkrug (83'), made it 1-1, adding confidence to his teammates that they can still hope to pass the group.

Spain is the leader of Group E with four points, Japan and Costa Rica with three and Germany with one.

In the last round, Die Mannschaft meet Costa Rica, while the Spanish meet the Japanese.
