Lewandowski warns Haaland: I'm still here, the season is long

Robert Lewandowski has not given up on the race for the Golden Shoe.

The Barcelona striker won the 'Gerd Muller' award last night as the best scorer of the season.

After receiving the award, he was asked if it will be more difficult this season, with a Haaland at Manchester City who is not stopping to score.

The Polish star, in his answer, it seems as if there was also a warning.

"The season is very long. For me it is a new chapter with Barcelona and from the first days I feel good in that club. I have the opportunity to score many goals and I am sure that together we will do well in this", said Lewandowski.

"This is football. You must always be ready. I know that the new race is coming, but I'm still here and I haven't said the last word yet", added the player.

Lewandowski received the 'Gerd Muller' award for his performances with Bayern Munich and Poland.
