Italian Champion, Antonio Conte: The most difficult title in his career

Napoli have been declared champions of Italy for the 2024–2025 season, winning the club's fourth title in history and the first under coach Antonio Conte. It is also the fifth title in Conte's career as a coach in the Italian championship.

After the match with Cagliari that sealed the triumph, Conte stated that achieving this title was a great and difficult challenge.

The coach praised the contribution of the players, especially those who had been part of the champion team two years ago and who ranked 10th last season.

Conte described this title as the most difficult of his career, due to the state in which he found the team when he took charge.

"It happened again, it's fantastic and beautiful. It was difficult to get to the stadium because of the huge crowd of people. Honestly, a small thought crossed my mind about the possibility of a disappointment, it would have followed us for a long time. But the boys were incredible. There was incredible pressure, but we coped with the game in the best way. The credit goes to this team, especially the players who won two years ago and then finished tenth. Also, we managed to adapt well the new players who came.

Without a doubt, this is the most difficult title of my career, but also the most challenging. Coming to Napoli after a tenth place and trying to rebuild everything, convincing even the best players to believe in the project, was not easy at all.
