Insults and racist calls of the coach of the Serbian fans, FFK reacts to FIFA

The Football Federation of Kosovo has reacted to FIFA to the serious insult of the coach of the Serbian national team and the racist actions of the Serbian fans in the World Cup match, Switzerland - Serbia, held on December 2.

The display of slogans with political messages and racist calls to Albanians were heard almost during the entire match and the world media also reported on them.

It is senseless and absurd the hatred with which the opinion in the neighboring country has been nourished over the years towards the Albanian people in general, instead of committing to the hand of reconciliation and apology.

FFK ka parashtruar ankesë me dëshmitë e nevojshme në FIFA edhe për këtë rast, pak ditë pas ankesës lidhur me shfaqjen e pankartës në zhveshtoren e Përfaqësueses së Serbisë, me hartën e Kosovës me ngjyrat e flamurit serb dhe me mbishkrimin “S’ka dorëzim”.

FFK kërkon nga FIFA hetim të këtij rasti dhe sanksione ndaj Federatës së Futbollit të Serbisë, në mënyrë që thirrjet fashiste njëherë e përgjithmonë të qëndrojnë larg stadiumeve të futbollit dhe larg eventeve si Kupa e Botës.

Thirrjet e tilla nga tifozët e një ekipi pjesëmarrës në Kupën e Botës, nuk mund të kuptohen e arsyetohen nga askush, sidomos tani kur Evropa po kërcënohet nga situata e brishtë e sigurisë si pasojë e agresionit të paprovokuar të Rusisë në Ukrainë.

The Football Federation of Kosovo will stand strong in defense of the values ??and dignity of the country and its people, but at the same time in defense of the values ??that football conveys in general, which are unity among people, hope, joy and passion for inclusiveness.

Teams and fans with behavior and philosophy of hatred of man for man should not have a place in such important sports events as the World Cup "Qatar 2022".
