Anxiety in Brazil and Germany, two starters risk the World Cup

Brazil and Germany are facing significant problems at the 2026 World Cup due to injuries to two starting players.

For Brazil, Raphinha suffered a muscle injury during the 3-0 win over Haiti in Philadelphia. The Barcelona forward felt discomfort shortly after the second goal and was immediately substituted. The Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed the injury after examinations carried out after the match.

The recovery time is currently unknown, but he is expected to miss the match against Scotland on June 24.

Meanwhile, Germany risks losing Nico Schlotterbeck, who was injured in the match against Ivory Coast.
