The world's busiest airports are revealed, and only two of them are in

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has maintained its status as the world's busiest airport, with more than 106 million passengers passing through in 2025.

Based on passenger traffic data, Dubai International Airport in the United Arab Emirates ranked second, followed by Tokyo Haneda Airport in third, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in Texas in fourth, and Shanghai Pudong International Airport in fifth.

The rankings come from the Airports Council International (ACI) and are based on the number of passengers boarding and disembarking, with transit passengers counted only once. 

The ten busiest airports in 2025, based on international passengers only, are:

Dubai International Airport, United Arab Emirates; London Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom; Incheon International Airport, South Korea's Changi Airport, Singapore's Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the Netherlands' Istanbul Airport, Turkey's Istanbul Airport, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, France; Hong Kong International Airport, Germany's Frankfurt Airport, Hamad International Airport, Qatar./CNA
