"The road was built a year ago. When the rains started, it gradually got damaged little by little. It is dangerous, especially for children, because they ride bicycles. They came to see it when the first rains came, they said they would do it, but so far nothing has been done. This road had not been touched at all for over 30 years. We were not happy with it, even though the road was built. It is better to intervene as soon as possible, because the more time passes, the more it is damaged by cars," says a resident.

Residents say that the problems are numerous, ranging from the poor quality of the works to the lack of protective elements in the most dangerous areas.

"The road has been built for almost a year. It is very dangerous; we are anxious to get the car out and anxious to get it into the house. Meanwhile, other residents blame the works, claiming that the lack of a stable foundation is causing the road to deteriorate rapidly.

If you come here for dinner, you can find 20 cars, because we can't fit them in the house," they say.

Residents of Rrëmenj demand immediate intervention from responsible institutions to prevent further deterioration of the situation and the possible isolation of the neighborhoods. They emphasize that a long-awaited investment should not end up in a new problem for the community. /CNA
