Spring bonus for pensioners/ Here's when it's received and who

For pensioners across the country, spring comes with a bonus in addition to their monthly pension. The distribution of the spring bonus has started on Monday, March 3, 2025. According to the data, 730,430 pensioners will benefit from this bonus.

Pensioners will have the opportunity to withdraw their spring bonus, along with their monthly pension, at any Albanian Post office or second-tier bank. The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, has announced that 196,114 pensioners across Albania have withdrawn their pensions so far.

More than 511 thousand pensioners will receive a bonus of 10 thousand lek (100 euros) since their monthly pension reaches up to 20 thousand lek, and the other category that receives over 20 thousand lek per month will receive a bonus of 5 thousand lek (50 euros).

This bonus can be withdrawn until September 30 of this year, the Ministry of Economy announces, while for all pensioners who have not yet withdrawn the Year-End Bonus, the deadline to receive it is June 30, 2025./CNA
