Everyone knows her at the health center in Velipojë. For over 30 years, Vjollca Vocaj has been serving patients, always where they are most needed. Every summer season, she is the support of hundreds of vacationers who seek medical help, carrying out her work with dedication and humanity.

This year, everything is more difficult for her, as her husband passed away in the line of duty.

Today, she continues this path as a sacred legacy, keeping her husband's memory alive through service to people.

"When I have a very serious patient, I feel morally compelled to give my life, and in some cases I have not even considered my own life, just how and how to save people. This year has been very difficult for me because I have worked together with my husband Fred. He was not only my husband but also a colleague and friend to me. He gave me courage for the patients because he worked so hard that he even gave his life in the line of duty by bringing the sick person to the hospital. With his departure, I have a double duty to fulfill a legacy in the service of the sick.

Vjollca continues her work as always, considering her service to patients as a trust that she will not leave half-hearted. And this season, she continues to welcome every vacationer who needs medical help!/ CNA
