A human story, filled with emotions, humor and reflection, has been brought to the Pogradec audience through the comedy "Two Loves and a Kidney", which has taken to the stage of the city's Cultural Center.

Directed by Guri Koço and starring actors Guri Koço, Alban Prodani, Adea Cale and Dhimitraq Tasellari, the play has managed to naturally combine elements of comedy and tragedy, touching on sensitive topics of everyday reality.

At its core, the work deals with the lives of two characters who face economic difficulties, but who remain rich in spirit and values.

Through simple but meaningful situations, the play brings to attention the importance of true friendship and sacrifice for others, turning the stage into a mirror of today's society.

The director and actor of the play, Guri Koço, emphasizes that the work does not rely on black humor, but on the delicate balance between laughter and pain.

"The comedy does not have black humor, it has an extraordinary combination of tragedy and comedy, only the line between these genres is so thin that sometimes people get confused. We have been working with great desire for about 2 months," said Koço.

He adds that at the center of the play lies a strong message about the times in which we live.

"The play has at its center the hymn of friendship. In today's time, where everything is heading towards degradation, this work tries to attract people's attention. It is not wealth that makes people friends, but the heart and soul," he added.

For Korçë actor Albano Prodani, this show has been a special artistic and human experience, built on collaboration and dedication.

"I think we made a beautiful show, we worked with the other actors and we felt very good. I can't wait to go to Korça for this show ," said Prodani.

He also dwells on his relationship with the director, describing it as a close and inspiring collaboration.

"I am a student of Guri Koço and he hired me to work in the theater; our friendship is very great. Guri works hard and this does us a lot of good, even though we may have some words during work, they are all accepted ," he said.

Meanwhile, for actress Adea Cale, participating in this play is an important step in her artistic journey. She also appreciates the audience's reaction, which has been very positive.

"This is the second night that we performed the comedy in Pogradec. Yesterday was the premiere and the emotions were greater. The Pogradec audience received it very well and we are very pleased with them. It is a great privilege for me to be in this cast of professional actors," said the actress.

"Two Loves and a Kidney" comes as a heartfelt reflection on human relationships, proving that even in difficult conditions, values ??such as friendship, solidarity, and love remain essential.

The play is expected to continue its journey on the stage of Korça, bringing to the audience not only laughter, but also messages that invite reflection on reality and relationships between people. /CNA
