Fire at the "5 Maji" market/ Berisha accuses: The drug mafia burns them to build towers in that square

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his speech at the leadership meeting, also touched on the burning of the "May 5" clothing market.

Berisha accused the fire of being intentional, as the intention was to build towers there.

The chief democrat stated that half of Albanians used to dress from that market, but now they no longer have the opportunity.

"At the same time that you are not providing any assistance, not allocating funds for all these flooded areas, 2,000 businesses are burning in the middle of Tirana.

Thousands and thousands of citizens are losing their jobs, losing their livelihoods.

But hundreds of thousands of Albanians who used to dress from that market, not to mention half of the Albanians or more who used to dress from that market, now they can't dress, they can't buy clothes like they used to.

And why is that? Because towers will be built there.

"That the concrete mafia, the cocaine mafia, the drug mafia burn them to build towers in that square ," Berisha said./CNA
