November 9th race/ Election materials distributed in the Municipality of Mati

With only a few hours left until the start of the voting process, CEAZ 16 in Mat has distributed election materials to polling centers.

The commissioners of 47 centers appeared at CEAZ 16, which is located in the "Ferit Hysa" sports palace in the city of Burrel, and collected election materials for Sunday's voting.

There are about 26,700 citizens with the right to vote who have the opportunity to choose on Sunday between three candidates running for the new head of the Mat Municipality, Altin Bojni from the Socialist Party, Eduart Brahilika, an independent supported by the opposition, and Suzana Pasha, an independent.

In the last local elections of 2023, 13,961 citizens participated in the elections for the head of the Municipality of Mat, while in the last parliamentary elections, 13,169 citizens exercised their right to vote. 

The distribution of materials was carried out without any problems, with no deficiencies in documentation or problems related to commissioners being identified.

On Sunday, polling stations will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. /CNA
