Prime Minister Edi Rama attended the Annual Conference of the Eastern Bloc Commission in Berlin. In his speech at the conference, Rama said that the Western Balkans is a region completely surrounded by the borders of the European Union.

As for Albania, the Prime Minister said that it does not seek to join the EU just to be part of the club, but seeks to transform itself as a country.

Rama did not spare any jokes with those present, telling them that they already know that he is the best painter among prime ministers, or perhaps even among chancellors.

 

" Strategic competition has become global. Technology is transforming the very way we connect with each other and experience life. Economic security has become inseparable from strategic security. Europe is no longer the continent of great prosperity.

Now you all know that I am the greatest painter among prime ministers, I would dare say among chancellors.

"The Western Balkans is a region surrounded by the border of the European Union. For Albania, membership is not just about joining the club, it is about transforming our state ," Rama said.
