The Vice President of the Democratic Party and MP, Luciano Boçi, stated today that the protests being organized by the opposition are an indicator of maintaining a responsible stance as a political alternative.

Invited to the "Noë" show with journalist Erla Mëhilli, Boçi said that although the DP has the strength to radicalize the situation, it chooses not to act in such a way.

According to Boçi, it is not enough for only members of the DP to participate in the protests, but for citizens to also participate.

"When an opposition takes a responsible stance, it risks being called 'romantic'. When faced with an irresponsible stance, it seems more unappealing. The desire and goal of the Democratic Party to be in the lead does not go beyond corpses. If we have a responsible stance today, do not think that we do not have the strength to radicalize the situation and make calls that stir up people's emotions. We are not saying that we will drag Edi Rama. That is how the revoluted people come and make it happen. The goal is to convince step by step and the participation of citizens in the process. Only members of the DP are not enough, but citizens are also needed. Even the public's approach has changed in the way it perceives who will receive punishment, whether it comes from legal or political justice. In any case, the opposition will take its action and is the public's alternative", said Boçi. /CNA
