Minister Ibrahimaj reveals the date/Here's when the year-end bonus for

Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, said today that the year-end bonus for pensioners will be received at the beginning of next month.

More specifically, Ibrahimaj said that the bonus will be received starting December 1.

According to the minister, by 2030, the aim is for the fund made available to pensioners to reach 1.7 billion euros.

"Many people in the communication we have made about pensions have told us 'what have you done? You have received the year-end bonus and distributed it for 2026'. The truth is not this, the truth is that the year-end bonus will be and pensioners will receive it from December 1 and it will be equal to the bonus that was given last year.

So all pensioners who have a pension of less than 200 thousand lek will receive a 150 thousand lek bonus and all those who have a pension of more than 200 thousand lek will receive a 100 thousand lek bonus. This is a total budget effort in the next 5 years until 2030, where the fund that we will make available to pensioners is 1.7 billion euros, between the bonus and indexations which in themselves is a value of about 50 million euros each year.

"It is a large sum, heavy for the state budget, but we have finally reached that stage of the economic level where we can generate income and have the opportunity for that income to be redistributed to all generations," Ibrahimaj said./CNA
