"I cannot comment on specific issues"/ Kos: Independent judicial

Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos was also asked about the Special Court's decision regarding Belinda Balluku at the conference in the framework of the enlargement summit.

Kos stated that he could not comment on specific issues.

However, focusing on the judicial system, Kos said that it is one of the greatest achievements that has been part of the EU's findings.

 

 

"I cannot comment on specific issues. An independent judicial system is one of the greatest achievements. We have had this as part of our findings. What we want from every country is that with the help of the judicial system there is legal certainty ," Kos said.
