Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Agron Gjekmarkaj, spoke to the media after the conclusion of the meeting of the Conference of Speakers.

Gjekmarkaj said that in the first two sessions, an attempt was seen to destroy parliamentarism and called the Speaker of the Assembly an assassin.

Further, the Democratic MP stated that he has requested a meeting of the Legislation Committee to consider the possibility of a motion against Niko Pelesh.

The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly also stated that he had requested that the punishments against democratic deputies be lifted and that the media be allowed into the Assembly hall.

" The first two sessions were an attempt to destroy parliamentarism. Peleshi was presented as an assassin. In the first session, they dissolved the committees, reduced the space for the opposition. In the second session, the prime minister came with a provocative tendency, to close the session so that there would be no presentation, no transparency. I requested a repeat of the session. The legislation committee should be convened and the possibility of a motion against Peleshi should be considered. The absurd sentences should be lifted and the media should be allowed into the Assembly hall. We will use every space to tell the truth ," said Gjekmarkaj.
