Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has shared an ICAO projection on social media.

According to ICAO projections, Balluku says that the number of air passengers is expected to reach 21.6 million by 2040. 

In her post, the Deputy Prime Minister states that civil aviation has become the main gateway to Albania and is the main focus of the government.

" 21.6 million air passengers is the ICAO projection for Albania in 2040."

Civil aviation is growing year after year, becoming the main gateway to Albania, so it is our main focus.

"#Tirana, #Vlora, #Kukësi and soon #Gjirokastra airport put Albania in a position like never before, reaching record visitor numbers ," writes Balluku./ CNA
