"LaCivita must return millions of euros to the opposition"/ Spahiu: It

Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu spoke about the opposition's protest, saying that it is not capable of activating the entire population in protest, of putting universities, schools, municipalities, administrations, ports, airports, etc. on strike.

In an interview with the media, Spahiu said that physical violence, not violent means, is used in opposition protests.

"Tomorrow we have a protest. I have four arguments for the protest, I am not against violent protests, but this is not a popular protest. There are violent protests all over the world when the people do it, massively. The opposition is incapable of mobilizing the entire people, putting universities, schools, municipalities, administrations, ports, airports on strike, it cannot do this. The DP fills some buses, pays for sandwiches to come on the road. Third, even those who call are unprepared, they use physical violence, not violent means. I do not see people fighting with the police with fists, there are 20 people in masks, who throw petrol bottles from afar. This shows that you do not have people prepared, who are ready, for the hatred they have for this government, to clash and sacrifice themselves. Fourth, in no country in the world does a violent protest take place during a speech. This is unacceptable, this is violence organized," said Spahiu.

Among other things, Spahiu spoke about Rama's visit to Washington, reminding the opposition that advisor LaCivita must return the millions of euros he received because he failed to achieve the cause of stopping Rama from going to the US.

"It's up to them to demand their money back from LaCivita tomorrow, they paid millions of euros to isolate Edi Rama so he wouldn't go to Washington, they got the case. It's up to LaCivita to return the money," declared Spahiu./ CNA
