Analyst: European processes, Edi Rama's trick to keep them from fleeing the country

Journalist Mentor Kikia said today that the country's EU integration process includes a number of aspects, such as democracy, elections and public transparency, emphasizing that it is not a path that paves itself.
Invited to the show 'Log.', Kikia stated that true Europeanization will only come when the established standards, which resemble those of European citizens, are realized.
"Integration is not a path that is paved, but a process that includes all of Albania, such as democracy, elections, public transparency. So, in principle, Albania integrates because all these perimeters can be realized and that the happy ending is not integration into the EU so that we can realize those standards. And before we are European citizens, but citizens who live in conditions like Europeans. If the EU continues with this optimistic approach and accepts Albania with these problems that it is facing, then a political strategy is being realized, but it will not serve the citizens. Because we do not care if our goals are not achieved", - said Kikia./ CNA
