Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, through a post on social networks, posted a photo showing that the Albanian Parliament has included Enver Hoxha in the list of personalities of the month of October.

Këlliçi writes that this is scandalous and criminal. The Democrat further writes that as a member of the Assembly, he strongly condemns the normalization of evil and demands that this material be immediately withdrawn.

Këlliçi says that in addition to withdrawing the material, an apology should also be sought from the families affected by Enver Hoxha's crimes.

The dictator who produced a regime of terror, the most isolated state, the poorest and most oppressed people in Europe is ranked among the nation's honored figures, alongside Sulejman Delvina, Migjeni, Naim Frashëri, Abdyl Frashëri, and Father Gjergj Fishta.

If this were simply the mistake of a tired bureaucrat or patronizer copying from Wikipedia, this parliamentary "slip" and mockery of Albanians could easily be dealt with.

However, considering the thousands killed and shot, but above all the over 5,000 victims of communism, whose graves and remains have not been found, thousands of prisoners and families interned, and an entire people traumatized and kept surrounded by barbed wire, this is intolerable in every respect.

Such tendencies to manipulate history point to a diabolical attempt to revive the myths of communist historiography, where criminals are considered heroes of the people and the totalitarian mindset poisons the minds of young people, making the monist regime not only acceptable but also desirable.

As a member of the Albanian Parliament, I strongly condemn the normalization of evil, considering the resolutions adopted to condemn the crimes of communism, the democratic orientation of the Republic of Albania, and the unequivocal stance against dictatorship as a concept and the most criminal and bloody dictator in Albanian history.

"The Albanian Parliament must immediately withdraw this material and publicly apologize to Albanian society and the thousands of families affected by Enver Hoxha's crimes ," Këlliçi writes.
