Officialized candidacy for the Mayor of Tirana/ "Albania Becomes"

The "Albania Becomes" movement has decided to support the name of actor Florjan Binaj in the local by-elections for the Municipality of Tirana.

The news was confirmed by the leader of the movement, Adriatik Lapaj. The "Albania Becomes" movement announced that it would support independent candidates in this election.

Actor Florjan Binaj formalized his candidacy for the capital's mayor two days ago.

" Two days ago, we proposed that the candidates for municipalities in these elections, due to the extraordinary situation, should come from the ranks of engaged citizens and not from agreements between political parties. We declared that we would support one of the independent candidates who would announce their candidacy in these elections."

Expressing appreciation for all those who have declared, the leadership of the "Albania Becomes" Movement has decided to support the independent candidate Florjan Binaj in the Tirana Municipality. This decision is based on our good will and the conviction that Albania is more important than the party ," Lapaj writes.

 

Partial local elections will be held on November 9 in 6 municipalities in the country.

In addition to Tirana, elections will also be held in the municipalities of Vlora, Mati, Tepelena, Cërrik and Berat./ CNA
