Balla/Vokshi's statements: Political targeting, they are trying to hit the

Democratic Party MP Albana Vokshi, at the meeting of the Committee on Europe and Foreign Affairs, reacted regarding yesterday's situation in Parliament and Taulant Balla's statements.

Vokshi said that she does not feel insulted because people like Balla embarrass the Parliament, but said that she felt hurt by the way this situation was managed in the Assembly.

Further, the Democratic MP stated that the language used by the leader of the Socialist group was shamefully managed by the majority MPs.

Vokshi said that the targeting of her was not random but political, as they tend to hit anyone who raises their voice.

 

" I thank my colleagues who joined in the opinion that institutional psychological violence has no place in Parliament. They are trying to hit the opposition and the women MPs of the opposition. Anyone who raises their voice. I have also suffered the insult of Edi Rama on my skin. Your party has shot women. I do not expect an apology, let's not laugh... an apology is a deception that neither I, nor any of us, can accept. Let's move on to the violence that your party exercises against women. They have threatened and blackmailed me. They have threatened me and my daughter. They have expelled me for 3 months, taking away my right to speak ," said Vokshi./CNA
