Boçi accuses the SP: 'January 21', an event fabricated by the

Democrat Luciano Boçi, while drawing a parallel between the opposition protests today and those of 12 years ago, also focused on the event of January 21.

Invited to Euronews Albania, Boçi described the demonstrations of January 21, 2011, as an event orchestrated by the Socialist Party, at the time in opposition, with the aim of violently seizing power.

"The opposition at that time did not protest, but attempted to seize power by force. That event did not come naturally. That event was engineered, spied on, pushed, organized, paid for by a political force, to seize power. It was to exploit the historical momentum. If you compare it to the government, there was no massive corruption. The video came out because of a party allied to the DP. That event did not produce a political result," Boçi said./CNA
