The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has reacted harshly to the claim presented today in The Hague against the former commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, describing it as shameful and a serious blow to the purity of the liberation war.

According to Balla, this pretense constitutes a terrible atrocity against historical truth and the just struggles of the people of Kosovo for freedom. He emphasizes that the years of peaceful resistance of Kosovars, the just war of the KLA, and the massive exodus of civilians who escaped ethnic cleansing are being overlooked and replaced with fiction.

"Today's claim is a serious alarm, to which we must react responsibly to protect the legitimacy of the KLA's heroic war and Kosovo's inalienable right to freedom," Balla said.

He underlined that Albania will continue to stand by Kosovo and the historical truth, defending the values ??of freedom and justice./ CNA
