Will Lulzim Basha pay the debts of the party he bought?

Last week, Lulzim Basha made the purchase of his life! He bought the logo of the Conservative Party, which until the end of 2024 was led by a leader who no one except his family knows.

We say he bought it, because there is no information that the party has activated the voting process and the election of the new party leader. Nor that of changing the name of the party from the Conservative Party to the Euro-Atlantic Democratic Party.

Lulzim Basha is still a member of the Democratic Party parliamentary group with Chairman Sali Berisha. Practically, Luli Basha, without making a public divorce with the PD acronym, has negotiated the purchase of a reserve acronym, also assigning it the chairmanship until the conditions are ripe for Luli to publicly declare himself as a member (or Chairman) of the Reborn Conservative Party.

But, according to CEC data, the Conservative Party owes at least 30 million lek to this institution. In simple logic, an entity (legal entity) that is taken over with old debts is worth at least as much as the value of the debts that the new owner must repay.

Is this the amount paid by Lulzim Basha as the purchase price of the indebted Conservatives?  If Lulzim Basha was deceived and he did not know that he was buying the debts, will Lulzim Basha pay the debts of the Party he is reviving, before entering the elections to rebirth all of Albania again?

There are 30 million lek that must be repaid just as obligations to the Central Election Commission. Not counting the others!

Lulzim Basha plans to pay them off before the elections, will he pay them with the funds he will collect during the campaign, or will he wait until he comes to power and then there will be money for everyone? /CNA
