Margot Robbie is being touted as the "highest paid young actress" after her hefty salary for the much talked about movie "Barbie" was revealed.

The Australian actress was paid around $12.5 million to play the role of "Barbie" in the film of the same name. 

Ryan Gosling, who stars as Ken, also earned $12.5 million.

Also on the list were Jamie Lee Curtis (“Halloween Ends”) with $3.5 million and Anya-Taylor Joy (“Furiosa”) taking in $1.8 million.

The film is about "Barbie" who is kicked out of Barbieland because she is not perfect enough. She goes on an adventure to save Barbieland only to realize "that the key to happiness is self-belief".

Barbie will be released on July 21, 2023. /ET-CNA.al
