"It's so disgusting"/ Dua Lipa speaks out about the

World-famous Albanian singer Dua Lipa spoke in the latest episode of her podcast "Service95 Book Club" about the "Epstein" scandal and how it is being treated in the media.

While calling the language being used in the media to report sexual crimes "disgusting," Dua Lipa said that this method is harming victims more and shifting the focus away from them.

According to her, this could also be an attempt to mask what is really happening.

“It’s so disgusting. The way the crimes have been reported and the language that has been used has hurt all the victims. I keep thinking about all the stories that talk about underage girls and sex parties instead of writing about the victims who are trafficked and raped children. It’s putting almost everything under some kind of veil to protect, I don’t know who, the reader or the attempt to mask what’s really going on. It’s so interesting how the media takes and distorts things even in the darkest of times ,” the artist said in a conversation with her guest, author Roxane Gay. /CNA
