Will Smith and Jada Pinkett's children 'free' to talk about their parents' split

The children of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith spoke out after the news of their parents' separation became public.

Recently, the 52-year-old actress made the shocking revelation that she and her Oscar-winning husband have been living "completely separate lives" since 2016.

Jada revealed the news to Today during a promotional interview for her new book Worthy. 

 Their children Jaden, 25, and Willow, 22, were allegedly forced to keep the news of their parents' split a secret for years.

A source told MailOnline that Jaden and Willow always felt "uncomfortable" when someone asked them about their parents.

Although Jaden and Willow love their mom dearly and take many of her mannerisms and traits, they are very relieved that the news is finally out. / CNA
