The model Gigi Hadid has made a post about the war between Israel and Palestine that has been going on for several days. She has focused on the lives lost.

According to Hadid, terrorizing innocent people is inconsistent and does no good to the 'Free Palestine' movement.

She says the idea that it does has fueled a painful, decades-long cycle of revenge and helps perpetuate the false idea that being pro-Palestinian = anti-Semitic.

The model states that there are many complex, personal and valuable feelings, but every human deserves basic rights, treatment and security; regardless of nationality, religion, ethnicity or place of birth.

My thoughts are with all those affected by this unjustifiable tragedy and every day innocent lives are taken from this conflict – many of whom are children. I have deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation, a responsibility I carry every day.

I also feel a responsibility to my Jewish friends to make it clear, as I have done before: While I have hopes and dreams for the Palestinians, none of them involve harming a single Jewish person. Terrorizing innocent people is inconsistent and does no good to the 'Free Palestine' movement.

The idea that it does so has fueled a painful, decades-long cycle of revenge (which no innocent civilian, Palestinian or Israeli, deserves to be a victim of) and helps perpetuate the false idea of ??being pro-Palestinian. = anti-Semitic. If you are hurting as I share my condolences today with my loved ones, Palestinian and Jewish, I am sending you my love and strength – whoever and wherever you are.
