Gjergj Fishta Memorial in Lezha Towards Returning to International Cultural Center

The Gjergj Fishta Memorial in Lezha is preparing to turn into a multifunctional creative center of international proportions.

According to the Ministry of Culture, a collaboration between the National Museum of Photography "Marubi" and one of the most prestigious photography schools in France (ESPN), thanks to the support of European partners, will bring a new spirit to the heart of our heritage from this spring.

This project will transform this space into a meeting point for ecology, writing, and photography.

A new cultural destination that will include:

-Artistic Residency & Exchanges, where French and Albanian artists and students will collaborate on training and scientific research programs.

-The Fishta Traces Itinerary, as a research journey that connects the history of Fishta with the extraordinary archive of the "Marubi" National Museum of Photography.

This project also aims to draw tourists' attention to the unique beauties and flavors of Lezha's historical itineraries./CNA
