At Cape Rodoni, in addition to enjoying the virgin nature and the tranquility of the sea, you can also visit the ruins of a castle which is closely linked to our national hero, Skanderbeg.
This fortress began to be built after the first siege of Kruja in 1450 and is thought to have been completed around 1452. The wall of the Rodon fortress reached a length of 400 meters and had round towers on its peaks. Today, the main tower, 10 meters high, and several defensive walls, 3.5 meters thick, are preserved.
