A new biography has been brought about by way of a book about the great writer and politician Fan Noli.

The book "Apostulli" by Ilir Ikonomi describes Fan Stilian Noli in the period starting from his arrival in America in 1906 until 1920, when he returns to Albania.

He mentions Noli's contribution with the establishment of the Albanian Church, the "Besa-Besa" Society, the "Dielli" newspaper and the "Vatra" Federation.

Ikonomi shows that the book has also brought new facts about Noli, while it will be promoted on Tuesday, November 7.

I invite you to the promotion of the book "Apostulli", the first volume of a new biography about Fan Noli. It has 430 pages and is a publication of UET Press.

The promotion takes place on Tuesday, November 7, at 13:00 at the European University of Tirana (take the Porcelani bus).

The book "Apostulli" gives a colorful description of Fan Stilian Noli, in the period starting from his arrival in America in 1906 until 1920, when he left for Albania.

During this important time, Noli founded the Albanian Church, the "Besa-Besa" Society, the "Dielli" newspaper and, together with Faik Konica and others, created the "Vatra" Federation, which would serve as an Albanian government in exile. .

In the book you will find new facts about Noli, one of the most knowledgeable and interesting Albanians who have ever existed. Every data is strictly documented.

To write the book, I did research in many archives and libraries and consulted with historians and other specialists.

The time that this volume reflects was not at all a green picnic field, but a battlefield, where Noli did not necessarily enjoy the support of everyone. I have tried so that the reader does not enjoy the book as a photograph, but as a movie, where the characters argue, collide, fall and rise again.

The book has a foreword written by the well-known American historian Bernd Fischer, is equipped with footnotes, photographs and an index of names. The front page was created by Besnik Frashni, UET Press.
