VIDEO/ They organized online sports bets, four arrested, one prosecuted

As part of the anti-gambling operation, four people were arrested and another was prosecuted.

According to the police announcement, these citizens organized online sports betting in various bars in Tirana.

Police Notification: 

"Finalized by the Sector for the Investigation of Cybercrimes, in cooperation with the Sector for Special Operations and Research and the Special Force "Eagle", the coded police operation "Bad spin 6".

During this operation, based on police intelligence, subjects and citizens were identified who carry out the illegal activity of organizing and adapting premises for the organization of illegal lotteries (online sports betting), in different areas of Tirana.

During the checks carried out in these entities, 4 citizens implicated in this criminal activity were caught and arrested in the act:

KR, 27 years old, AP, 32 years old, GK, 57 years old, Y. Sh., 37 years old, all residents of Tirana.

A NL citizen, 21 years old, was also processed in a free state.

The 5 mobile devices of these citizens were seized as material evidence.
