Dead body in Tale/ Identity revealed, suspicions of murder by firearm

New details have emerged from the serious incident that occurred today in Tale, Lezha, where a person was found dead near the hydropower plant.

It is learned that the victim has been identified as citizen Gj. T., 65 years old, resident of Pllana, Lezha.

From the preliminary examination, the victim has signs of violence, including a wound to the body, suspected to have been caused by a firearm.

Police Announcement:

"Around 14:40, citizen A. Gj. called the Operations Room, informing that she had lost contact with her father, citizen Gj. T., 65 years old, resident of Pllanë, Lezha. Immediately, the Police services began searching for him. After several hours of searching, around 17:30, on the banks of the Mat River, in Pllanë, Lezha, citizen Gj. T. was found without signs of life. From the preliminary examination, the victim has signs of violence, including a wound on the body, suspected to have been caused by a firearm", - the police announced. /CNA
