The police of Shkodra have released details of the shooting, where one person was injured.

The Blues inform that the injured person has been identified as a 40-year-old man with the initials A. C.

He was immediately sent to the hospital and is receiving medical assistance. Meanwhile, the police have set up multiple checkpoints.

The search for the perpetrator, who fled on a bicycle after shooting the 40-year-old 4 times, is currently ongoing.

"Around 09:00, in the place called "Dollari", the citizen A. C., 40 years old, was injured with a firearm, who was taken to the hospital and is receiving medical assistance.       

The Police Services immediately went to the scene and are checking the area to catch the perpetrator. 

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event and identify the perpetrator.

Meanwhile, numerous checkpoints have been set up. The National Security Forces are continuing to comb the area for the capture of the perpetrator, who is suspected to have left inside the neighborhoods of the city", the police announcement states./ CNA
