The hearing for former minister Fatmir Mediu has been postponed to December 27 in connection with the "Gërdeci" file.

The judges have given time to the defense lawyers to prepare the questions for the military experts, who have also determined the joke of the explosion of weapons dismantling in Gërdec.

After the session, Mediu stated that it is absurd for a minister to be investigated for matters of a military nature.

He said that the experts were not present, so they will send the questions in writing to get the answers later.

"It is such an absurd situation that it is completely unacceptable for the minister to be judged on what calibers or other elements are not related to his duty. These issues are of a military nature. We are a NATO member country and civil and military responsibilities are separated. We are in a reality that is absurd.

The fact about today's debate was because two of the experts were not present and we would have two parallel processes, we had to take the written questions to them to get the answers and the rest would answer orally. So in order to have a correct process, it was left to send the questions in writing. Although we asked for the debate to be held directly, because they are experts and have knowledge about what they wrote. But in these circumstances, it was judged that it was correct to have an answer from all the experts rather than having two parallel processes", said Mediu.
