Today, 4 people were arrested in Tirana, after the police found around 300 suspected narcotic ecstasy tablets during the search.

Police notification:

"Finalized by the Narcotics Investigation Sector, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction, within the framework of a criminal proceeding followed with proactive methods, the coded police operation "Drug party".

4 citizens are arrested.

300 suspected narcotic ecstasy tablets (MDMA) are seized.

The services of the Narcotics Investigation Sector following the work to combat illegality in any of its forms, within the framework of a criminal proceeding followed with proactive methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, have organized and have finalized the coded police operation "Drug party".

As a result of this operation, citizens EN, 18 years old, DV, 18 years old, KP, 19 years old, and M. Ç., 24 years old, all residents of Tirana, were arrested in the act.

The Police Services have located the aforementioned citizens on "Pjeter Bogdani" street and during their physical control, 300 suspected narcotic tablets of the ecstasy type (MDMA) were found and seized as material evidence.

Also, during the inspection of the store belonging to the citizen EN, on "Pjetër Bogdani" street, some electrical devices were found and seized as material evidence, which are suspected to be used for the cultivation of the narcotic substance cannabis.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions." /CNA
