Operation against gambling/ The administrator of the bar in Korça is arrested

An operation conducted yesterday by the Korça police has led to the uncovering of an illegal gambling activity, which was taking place in the premises of a bar that functioned as a coffee shop.

During the search, the blue uniforms arrested the administrator of the bar, while an employee was released. In the separate area of ??the bar, 8 computers suspected of being used for casino-type electronic games were found. Also, another computer was seized at the counter, on which online sports sites were opened where bets were allegedly placed by customers.

The materials were passed to the Korça Prosecutor's Office for further action, while the police announce that the controls will continue with the aim of cracking down on illegal gambling activities./ CNA
