He molested a minor/ The Korça Court sentences the 45-year-old to prison

The Korça Court has ordered the detention of 45-year-old Aleks Ago, who is suspected of sexually harassing a 15-year-old from the village of Poloskë in Devoll.

It was the minor himself who two days ago, together with his mother in the presence of a psychologist, reported the 45-year-old to the Devoll police station, saying that he had touched parts of his body and asked for sexual intercourse.

According to the 15-year-old's testimony, this was the third time Aleks Agos attempted to lure him by offering him money.

The 45-year-old was immediately arrested by the police, while today the prosecution requested a prison sentence, which was accepted by the Korça court.

The 45-year-old from the village of Kuç in the Devoll Municipality is married and the father of three children.

Sources close to the court say that Aleks Ago has categorically denied his involvement in this situation. He told the court that he did not molest the 15-year-old, but claims that he helped him because his father passed away 5 years ago. He said that they have distant family acquaintances and knowing the problem, he tried to approach him to help him either with money or food.
