Received clues from citizens/ Fines for drivers in Elbasan

The Elbasan traffic police, after receiving 2 reports (from social networks and from citizens) for violating traffic rules, took action to identify and administratively punish the drivers of these vehicles. 

Specifically:

- an administrative measure of 10,000 lek has been imposed, based on points 10 and 16 of article 146 of the Road Code, for the driver of the vehicle that performs wrong overtaking, in conditions of limited visibility, on the "Peqin-Elbasan" road axis.

- an administrative measure of 10,000 lek has been imposed, based on point 12 of article 7 of the Road Code, for the driver of the vehicle that is driving in the opposite direction of traffic on "Aqif Pasha" Boulevard. Also, an additional measure of "Suspension of driving license" has been imposed on the driver of the vehicle.

The Elbasan Local Police Directorate invites citizens to report any case of violation of road traffic rules to the number 112 and the Digital Commissariat, and guarantees them that it will react immediately and in accordance with the law. /CNA
