Accused of drug trafficking in Italy/34-year-old arrested for extradition

The Fier police have arrested citizen KM, who was internationally wanted for drug trafficking, for the purpose of extradition to Italy. The Milan Court has imposed the security measure "prison arrest" on 34-year-old KM, for the criminal offense of "participation in a criminal group, with the aim of drug trafficking".

The 34-year-old had the role of transporting narcotics on behalf of criminal groups.

Fier/Another police operation to capture internationally wanted citizens will be finalized within 24 hours.

A citizen for criminal activity in the field of narcotics is captured by the services of the Operational Force of the Fier Police Department during the police operation coded "Transporter" and arrested for extradition to Italy.
As a result of intensive police actions, carried out with the aim of capturing citizens declared wanted, as well as based on information provided by police intelligence on the location of a citizen declared internationally wanted, on behalf of Italy, the services of the Special Operational Force in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Fier Police Department, organized and finalized the police operation coded "Transporter".
During the operation, the citizen declared internationally wanted KM, 34 years old, resident of Lushnja, was located, captured and provisionally arrested for extradition to Italy.
The Milan Court has assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment", for the criminal offense "Participation in a criminal group, with the aim of trafficking narcotics", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code.
The 34-year-old had the role of a transporter of narcotics on behalf of criminal groups.
Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome are cooperating for the extradition of this citizen to Italy, the Police announcement states./ CNA
